Cottonseed Oil

A highly processed, neutral-tasting vegetable oil extracted from the seeds of the cotton plant. Like corn oil, it has an incredibly high smoke point and is chemically stable, making it a very common (though increasingly less popular) choice for commercial deep-frying and processed snack foods.
