Mandarin

A small, loose-skinned citrus fruit (*Citrus reticulata*) considered one of the core ancestral species of modern citrus. They are incredibly sweet, far less acidic than a standard orange, and distinctly floral, making them perfect for eating out of hand or sectioning into delicate salads.
